Purchased a hoover from here and it was faulty. Tom never even turned the hoover on to see if it was faulty. He argued that he couldnt find the hoover on the argos card system. After 2 car journeys and over an hour of arguing with him and him calling me a liar. And then him interrupting me whilst i was talking. No apology and grinned and laughed when I walked off. Bad customer service. Rude little boy. And after this experience I will not be buying anything from Argos again. Update your system were in the 20th century it should say what I purchased from you!
There was a technical issue today with the system and I couldn't get the item I had reserved but the staff did everything they could to resolve the issue and were helpful and supportive as there were local road closures and I got stuck in the retail park becoming late to pick up my son through backed up traffic. The staff helped me avoid a very stressful situation in the heat by just being kind. Top employees and a credit to the company.
Always a positive experience here, you may have to wait but there is an efficient queuing system on the electronic read out. I suggest buying online and collecting as this is much quicker, you can (where eligible) buy items on eBay and collect from this store. Staff seem pretty fed up though, unsure if working conditions play a role. Shop is clean and well laid out with the usual argos magazine layout so you can select products as per normal. This shop has the electronic order points as well if you don't like the magazines where you can order and pay at as well as the normal counters.Parking is free as this shop sits within a retail park, and is most quiet near this shop as it gets busy near the McDonald's end of the place.
Always seems to have good stock availability and easy to collect from. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Very helpful staff, I was impressed. Parking on the retail park was a little crowded on a weekday lunch time, had to wait for a space! But otherwise all good and very friendly staff indeed.
