Lovely place. Friendly dog walkers and picturesque woodland. In summer dogs aren't allowed in the pond there so it's best to go somewhere else to let your dogs cool off. It's lovely at any other season though

Jacob Smith Park is a really great place to take your dog! Being a walled park with a single gate, it's lovely to not have to worry about roads - especially in Harrogate! There's a bit of woodland, grassy hills, grassy flatland, and some water too - a lovely park to walk the dog. I just wish we lived closer!

Lovely place. Was bequeathed to the locality by the original owners and it's a real gem.We went to walk the dog but any sort of walking, nature watching or picnicking would be perfect.
