Visited today and had a meal of cream mushrooms on toast. Which was really freshly made and very tasty. There was also lots of homemade cakes. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Nice location and sweet setting but unfortunately the staff werent attentive enough at all, especially considering there were only about 3 other tables of people in the cafe and certainly 3+ staff in on that day. After being seated and served we were brought coffee and a toasted tea cake, which I enjoyed, but the milkshake was so sickly sweet that I would assume it was supposed to be more for children, although it tasted so processed I wouldnt recommend buying it for a child. After finishing our food and drink, our table wasnt checked for a long time and we had to poke our heads into the kitchen to ask for the bill, then again to pay the bill... we made our way out of the front door without anyone saying thanks for coming or goodbye. Really dissappointing service.
