The order never arrived , been just 2 hot drinks and a ready made cake ,so we asked how long it was going to be as quarter of an hour was stretching the wait a bit too much the manager said are you joking , then went on been extremely rude and very unprofessional for a somebody who is dealing with the public . We asked other people how long they had had to wait they also said a long time. Maybe some customer service training is needed and a manager that knows how to operate a kitchen.Once we would have recommended this cafe to others but we now know what the manager is like and no longer would give her any form of business.

Great spot. We live in Knaresborough and enjoy walking either side of the river to the cafe for a cup of tea
Stopped here for a bite to eat while walking from Knaresborough, plenty of seating inside and out with level lower floor(outside) available. Food is good and not to expensive, useful they take debit/credit cards. Toilets on site.
Lovely place to visit. Especially on a sunny day. Right next to the river where kids can paddle and catch tiddlers. Being harsh with a 4 star as it would have got 5 but although the food is nice the speed of service is a little slow. Not through effort more through design and resource. Won't stop me returning. It is a hidden gem!
