As a Wetherspoons, the food and drink is as you would expect - which was exactly what I was looking for. The food tasted nice and there was plenty of it for the really low price. Hot drinks have free refills which is great for tea drinks like me and the company I came with The pub itself is in a good location on a main Street, we had to walk less than 5 minutes from where we were to get to it and it was clearly signed for us to find. Inside was warm and friendly, the staff we nice enough and the place was very clean and tidy. It wasn't overly crowded with tables and there was a nice atmosphere We used to app to order our food and drinks and they were brought to us quickly and with a very friendly member of staffIf you like Wetherspoons, I'd recommend here!
Kind of decent old fashioned pub now spoon's. Pleasant atmosphere, biggish varied bar area, local brews, easy to relax place. Helpful staff and service. If its busy can be a bit slow going(nothing new)
Great food, warm fires, so reasonable. Beautiful interior. Nice clean toilets. You can even order on a Wetherspoons app if you don't want to queue. My stepdaughter loved the kids menu and the colouring in sheet.
Its great having somewhere like this where you can start a day out with the family by having a good breakfast. Re fill coffee is a nice add too as it includes various options now not just the filter coffee. The service is generally quick and have never not been able to get a descent table. My two young daughters choose to eat here over MacDonalds so must be good. They enjoy the spaghetti Bolognese when we pop in for tea.
Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Only went in for a drink but it had a nice atmosphere and was really good value. I got unlimited coffee for 1.29 and it was proper coffee and not instant, it even tasted pretty nice. Will be trying the food next time as it looked good!
