Not bad for a pint or two. Greatly improved with what I believe are a new landlady/Lord. Nice lady behind the bar who I presume is a geordie-very welcoming and friendly. Nice to see a real fire there. We'll worth a visit!! Toilets are very clean, well done.
Only called in for a quick sunday drink whilst on a walk with my wife and 3 girls and found the staff extremely welcoming.
Went for lunch today and were pleased with the service and food.We had he Gourmet Burger which came with side salad and chips, fresh coleslaw & mayo.New Manafement very friendly & it's nice to see the pub busy.Will definitely be back.
Since David & Danyell took over recently, I can already see the positive impact they are having on this place. The pub itself is located in a beautiful area and the locals are a great group of people. I would highly recommend visiting, whether it be for a few quiet and enjoyable drinks, sunday roast, live music or to watch the local cricket team. 5 stars for a reason and I genuinely hope they can keep this place running!
